Mark Goodson has been serving a diverse set of clients in the DC Metro Area for over sixteen years. Renowned for his work in the English classroom and on the football field, Mark has developed the sort of helpful and patient temperament that puts everyone he works with at ease. Whether coaching a future Heisman contender, mentoring a college-bound senior, or guiding a family through a major transition, Mark’s passion has always been helping people maximize their potential.
As an owner of two homes inside the Beltway, Mark has experienced firsthand the power of homeownership and understands the unique dynamics of the DMV real estate market. He is passionate about helping others harness that same power to create stability, opportunity, and long-term wealth for their families.
A graduate of Dartmouth College, where he played football and rugby, Mark has always combined a passion for learning with an entrepreneurial spirit. Though he misses the trout streams of Idaho, where he earned his master’s degree in teaching, he takes every opportunity to enjoy the abundant recreational landscape throughout the DMV.
Mark’s venture into real estate was a natural extension of his work as an educator, homeowner, property manager, and journalist. Launching the city of College Park’s newspaper is just one example of his longstanding dedication to community engagement and local expertise.
Since joining the real estate industry, Mark has continued expanding the scope of his service and impact. Most recently, he has developed a partnership with the University of Maryland Football program, assisting families relocating to the area to support student-athletes and helping them navigate the competitive DMV housing market with confidence. His ability to connect education, athletics, community, and real estate has positioned him as a trusted resource for families during important life transitions.
For Mark, real estate is ultimately about service. Cordiality and friendliness mark a good teacher, and Mark brings that same mindset to every client relationship. He seeks to work with people who are eager to discover the full potential of the value they already have and the value they seek to create.
